The Knight Sabers
Sylia Stingray
Sylia is leader of the Knight Sabers. She is portrayed as a very graceful though distant person with excellent leadership skills. Through flashbacks in "Tinsel City" we learn that Sylia's father, Dr. Katsuhito Stingray, developed Boomers until his unexpected death left Sylia and her younger brother Mackie on their own. However, her father also left behind a data unit with his research, including details of highly-advanced hardsuit technology.
Years later, Sylia uses this information and forms a mercenary team, the Knight Sabers. Their mission: to defend peace and justice, and rid the world of evil. Sylia often gathers the other Knight Sabers at her penthouse apartment to plan their missions. Her informant is a man named Fargo. In her daily life, Sylia owns and works at a lingerie shop.
Priscilla "Priss" S. Asagiri
Priss is a rock singer who performs at the club Hot Legs with her band, the Replicants. As a Knight Saber, she is a hard-hitting combat fighter and a force to be reckoned with. She is often willing to dive right into the most perilous situations solo and is so determined that she will not let even her own injuries get in the way ("Revenge Road" and "Double Vision" come to mind). Priss loves to ride her motorbike which has the ability to transform and attach directly onto her hardsuit.
Priss is the most rebellious of the bunch, but she is still a very genuine person and loyal to her friends. AD Police Officer Leon has a crush on her and is constantly after her heart, but she does not easily reciprocate these feelings. Priss usually receives more screen time than the other Knight Sabers, and she is arguably the most popular character of the series.
Linna Yamazaki
Linna is an aerobics instructor and later becomes a stockbroker in Bubblegum Crash. She is a dedicated Knight Saber and an impressive fighter. On several missions, she can be seen riding a motorbike of her own. In her daily life, Linna is quite an easygoing person who seems to have a busy personal life (her latest boyfriend always seems to be a popular conversation topic). Linna also never misses an opportunity to make money and she is the first to exclaim when reading about the 20 million dollar job offer in "Tinsel City" ^_^ It is also the reason for her career switch in Crash.
However, despite Linna's pursuit of money, she still strongly stands for justice. In "Born to Kill" when the USSD's black box goes up in smoke and puts the Knight Sabers out of their $20 million contract, Linna remarks that it's for the better. Also, in "Double Vision" it is Linna who tries to talk Reika out of her mission of vengeance.
Nene Romanova
Nene is the youngest of the Knight Sabers and is the most cheerful and high-spirited of the bunch. She works at AD Police Headquarters where she is able to feed valuable intel to the Knight Sabers from the AD Police computer systems. As a Knight Saber, Nene isn't known for her fighting skills, but she is an expert techie. She is known for being naive and often gets teased by the others.
Nene shows remarkable dedication as a team member and can't stand when the opposition has the upper hand, especially when the AD Police appears defenseless against Genom's boomers. In Bubblegum Crash, it is Nene who takes the initiative in getting the Knight Sabers back together after they lose touch with Sylia.
